Morocco - Marokko

This was a last minute holiday because I didn't want to stay home over Christmas and New Year. I flew to Marrakech where I met the group (just Brits) and the tour leader. It was a small loop we did in Morocco and our first stop was in Ait Benhaddou. There's a great atmosphere. From there we drove through the Atlas Mountains and stayed overnight in a typical village, which was very nice. And then we arrived in Essaouria - my absolute favourite place. I could have stayed there for ages. The shops, the scenery, the restaurants, the colours, everything – I loved it!! And the finish was in Marrakech.

Marokko war eigentlich ein Last-Minute Urlaub, weil ich über Weihnachten + Neujahr nicht daheim sein wollte. Ich flog nach Marrakesch, wo ich die Gruppe (nur Engländer) und Tourleader kennenlernte. Es war ja nur eine kleine Rundreise in Marokko und unser erster Stop war in Ait Benhaddou. Eine tolle Atmosphäre dort. Von dort fuhren wir durch das Atlas Gebirge und übernachteten in einem typischen Dorf – echt nett. Und dann sind wir nach Essaouria gefahren – mein absoluter Favorit. Ich hätte dort ewig bleiben können. Die Geschäfte, die Restaurants, die Stadt selber mit seinem Flair, einfach alles – einfach leiwand! Zurück in Marrakesch war die Tour auch schon wieder zu Ende.
