We arrived in Johannesburg and crossed over where the "0" is - straight up to Francistown - from there to Nata and up to Kasane, where the Chobe Nationalpark is - we did a daytrip to Zimbabwe/Zambia to see the Victoria Falls. You are not allowed + able to go on 4WD roads (without having a 4WD car) in Botswana. From Kasane we had to go back to Nata before heading to Maun. In Maun we organized our trip to the Okavango Delta/Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Back in Maun we drove along the Delta to the Okavango River which leads you to the Caprivi in Namibia. After our trip in Namibia we went back to Botswana - to Mamuno to go on to the Trans-Kalahari-Highway which ends in Lobatse or Gaborone. We gave Gaborone a miss-out, crossed over in Lobatse to South Africa.

Wir sind in Johannesburg angekommen und dort wo ihr den "0" seht sind wir nach Botswana. Gerade nach Francistown - dann weiter nach Nata und nach Kasane. Dort ist der Chobe Nationalpark. Wir haben auch einen Tagesausflug nach Simbabwe/Sambia gemacht, um die Victoria Fälle zu sehen. In Botswana ist es verboten mit normalen Autos auf die nicht geteerten Strassen zu fahren (ausser man besitzt ein geländetaugliches Auto). Von Kasane sind wir wieder retour nach Nata und dann nach Maun. Maun ist die Stadt um sich einen Trip ins Okavango Delta zu organisieren und von dort ins Delta reinzufliegen. Von Maun sind wir dann das Delta entlang gefahren bis rauf zum Okavango Fluss - dort ist dann auch schon der Caprivi Streifen von Namibia. Nach unserer Namibiatour sind wir bei Mamuno nochmals zurück nach Botswana und den Trans-Kalahari-Highway gefahren, der entweder in Lobatse oder in Gaborone endet. Nachdem die Hauptstadt Gaborone nichts zu bieten hat, sind wir bei Lobatse über die Grenze nach Südafrika gefahren.
