BORNEO - Malaysia

It was a quick decision and of course a good one - Borneo! I always wanted to see the Orang Utans there. It was a hard trip I have to admit, but worth going. I did an INTREPID trip again - called "Sabah - the land beneath the wind". It was a 13-day tour where we hiked Mt. Kinabalu, did a junglenight, visited Turtle Island and Sepilok to see the Orangutans. And I spoiled myself after this very basic trip in Kuala Lumpur for 3 nights in a 5-star hotel.

Es war eine schnelle, aber auch sehr gute Entscheidung von mir - Borneo! Ich wollte immer schon die Orangutans sehen. Ich muss auch gestehen, es war eine sehr anstrengende 13-tägige Tour von INTREPID - "Sabah - Land unterhalb des Windes" (es hat gebebt und geregnet, aber nicht gewindet!). Wir bestiegen Berg Kinabalu, übernachteten im Dschungel, besuchten die Schildkröteninsel und fuhren als Höhepunkt nach Sepilok um die Orangutans zu sehen. Und dann hab ich mir noch 3 Tage in einem 5-Stern Hotel in Kuala Lumpur gegönnt.
